Clearwater Music Camps
Summer 2008

Come study music with faculty from UW-Eau Claire's acclaimed Department of Music and Theatre Arts. This summer we will host a week-long residence camp for students who have completed grades 8-12. Students may choose to be part of our musical theatre or percussion camps during this week. Offered through the Continuing Education Office at UW-Eau Claire, you may learn more about the camps at their website.

June 23-27, 2008

• Total Percussion Camp - will challenge you with instruction and performance in all areas of percussion including mallet, drum set, snare, timpani, concert, marching and world percussion. Both new and experienced drummers are welcome. All equipment will be provided, including drums, sticks and mallets, or bring your own if you have them.

July 13-18, 2008

• Musical Theatre Ensemble - This week-long residential camp offers comprehensive training in voice, acting, scene development, movement and dance. Theatre games, group scene work and musical rehearsals will give you a glimpse into the world of musical theatre production. Please submit an audition tape or CD with one or two recorded solo performances for casting purposes.
