Chippewa Falls High School Cardinal Concert Choir The Cardinal Concert Choir is one of four curricular concert ensembles at Chippewa Falls High School. Other vocal offerings include a competitive show choir, a madrigal ensemble, and a vocal jazz group. The Cardinal Concert Choir has been in it’s auditioned format for nine years. The members of the choir are very honored to be invited to the 2008 Clearwater Choral Festival. |

Ronald Buckles, Conductor Ronald Buckles is in his 10th year of teaching at Chippewa Falls High School, where he directs 4 curricular choirs, a competitive show choir, the madrigal ensemble, and vocal jazz. Prior to his tenure at Chippewa Falls, he taught for 8 years in the Augusta School District. Mr. Buckles received his Bachelor of Music Education Degrees in Vocal and Instrumental Music from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He later received a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting, both from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. The most important part of Ron’s life is his family. Extended family members are in South Dakota where he and his wife Bonnie grew up. Bonnie teaches Learning Disabilities at Lake Holcombe and they have two children, Deidre – 11 and Christian – 7.
