Several organizations for multicultural students are available, offering the opportunity for social interaction and to hone leadership skills. Each organization works to promote cultural and political consciousness while offering peer support and striving to increase cross-cultural understanding on campus. Membership in these organizations is open to UW-Eau Claire students interested in being a part of the fun and for those who see diversity and multiculturalism as an important facet of their lives.
In addition to multicultural student organizations, students at UW-Eau Claire attend the annual American Multicultural Student Leadership Conference, a gathering of nearly 500 multicultural students from all UW System campuses. Students also have the opportunity to attend a variety of regional conferences that seek to educate, motivate and empower.
