The Office of Multicultural Affairs welcomes you to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Your first year of college may be your toughest; expect major adjustments that you will need to make. We are here to assist you in the adjustment process.
This office serves American Indian, Asian American, African American, and Latina/Latino students. We strive to improve the enrollment and graduation rates of ethnically diverse and disadvantaged students, by promoting their academic and personal growth and development. The Office of Multicultural Affairs provides supplementary services in the areas of academic advising, career planning and placement, counseling, and financial aid advising. These services and programs help students develop academic discipline, leadership skills, and other important qualities that will enhance their personal development at UW-Eau Claire.
Additionally, the Multicultural Student Program Center in Old Library (OL 2138) is a place for you to spend time talking, studying, and getting to know other UW-Eau Claire students. Be sure to visit with our very warm and committed staff in 225 Schofield Hall. We take pride in what we do at UW-Eau Claire. We accept the challenge to make a difference and trust that you will too!
