UW-Stevens Point Mini-Conference

Hi everyone, hope the beginning of your semester is going well!

First, the schedule has been updated (finally) with the schedule for the current semester. Please note the meeting change to 5p.m. on Tuesdays, which is different from last semester. The minutes from the last meeting are also posted here. Check it out, there was a lot of stuff going on.

The following is an e-mail from Ashley regarding the Mini-Conference which is coming up:

Hello everyone!

I have attached the Mini Conference registration form and schedule to this email.  This is an excellent opportunity for college students to see sessions specifically geared toward college students.  This year, it is being hosted by UW Stevens Point.  Please, see if you can attend, and check out the schedule that I've attached.  (Dr. Dickerson will be doing a session!).  The cost is only $10, and it's a great opportunity.  If you have any questions, please let me know.  I'd be happy to tell you more about it. 

If you want to attend, I need your registration form and money by February 9th.  Any later than that, and you will have to send it in on your own or register at the door for $12 (there is a $2 fee for being late in registering).  Please turn in your money and registration form in the MENC mailbox in the music office.  Make checks payable  to UWEC (we will be cutting one check to send to UWSP).

The minutes were updated from the last meeting, in case you happened to miss out. Check it out for info on MENC polo shirts, Alexander Technique, and conference info.

Some updates

Sorry for the lack of updates this semester folks, but hopefully I can start getting on the ball now.

The minutes were updated from the meeting before yesterday's. I'll put up yesterday's minutes as soon as they come in.

If you want a CMENC polo shirt, the $19 is due TOMORROW, OCTOBER 11, BEFORE NOON.

Be sure to check the CMENC board outside the choir room for information on housing/rides for Madison. Be sure to e-mail Susan if you have not signed up for the field trip permission slip.

WELCOME BACK!!
(Well not exactly yet)
Ya'll will be hearing a lot from me this year. My name is Susan Elsen and I am your secretary. I just wanted to write a quick letter and get some notes out of the way before school starts! We've got some awesome stuff planned this year and will be planning more so keep your eyes and ears open for upcoming announcements.
Everyone should know by now that we have a point system and in order to be an active member you have to have at least 3 points. 2 points or less and the organization will not be able to give you CMENC cords to wear for graduation! On top of the that you must maintain active status in order to participate in social events paid for by CMENC! 3 points is really easy so I should see all of you at every event and especially walking across that stage at graduation wearing the CMENC cords! If you have any question at all about how many points you have send me a quick email and I'll be able to get that for you right away!
I understand that this information my not pertain to a handful of you. Either you've graduated last year or have moved on to something different. This email list will not be updated until all the dues for the year are in so as soon as you all hear about that at school get them in so this list can be updated. Thank you all so much for your patience and I will see you all in a couple weeks. Have a great rest of your summer!!!!
