CMENC General Meeting - 30 January 2006

1. Dates this semester: Pass out calendar and go over events, meetings, etc. quickly – highlight speakers, MIOSM, etc. IF YOU DIDN'T GET A CALANDER, CHECK THE CMENC BOARD!

2. CMENC mini-conference (Feb. 25) in Oshkosh to members. This is going to be a great time, and you'll learn a ton. Dr. Tim (for those of you who know who he is) is even going to be there! Go online at www.uwosh.edu/cmenc/miniconference/ if you need more information or you want to register.

3. MIOSM Day in Eleva/Strumm on Friday, March 3rd - We need to have our field trip form for MIOSM turned in by February 3, so everyone needs to sign up on the field trip sign up form on the CMENC board if they even think they might go on the field trip. Talk to Anne if you have any questions, because she's in charge of the event.

4. Anne: Shadow Day: Thursday, March 16th – we're going to have anyone who signs up take a high school student around with them to classes so they can see what college at Eau Claire is like. Make sure that your professors would be okay with this. If you're interested, sign up on the sheet on the CMENC sign up board.

5. If anyone wants to still be a member, talk to Jill or Amy to get the form to send in. Or you can get it off the MENC website.

6. We voted on getting polo shirts for the semester—12 voted yes, so we're getting shirts.

7. Courtney: Committee for food booths will be created at a future meeting.

8.  If you worked at the lobby concert (I know it was a long time ago!), please send Ashley an email and let her know so you can get your points (the list isn't correct, because some people showed up, and some didn't, so if you don't email me, you don't get your points).
