CMENC General Meeting - 10 October 2005

1)     Reminder: if you didn’t get a booklet for conference, go to www.wmea.com. It has a booklet with the whole schedule on it.
2)     Council Meeting Announcements
a)     The council of music organizations met. Its purpose is to facilitate communication between organizations.
b)     Music budget/Forum speakers – e-mail ideas for money usage Jill or Dr. Knight
c)     Recital Scheduling changes
i)      Must schedule 1 semester prior to recital
ii)     1 page of program notes
iii)    Cannot postpone a recital for same semester
iv)    Goes into effect next semester
d)     NBA – looking for people to do recording of WSMA solo/ensemble music – contact Kristin Bar
3)     Conference Update
a)     Ride board- sign up if you need or can give a ride
b)     Booth sign-up- please sign up if you have time during the day
4)     Advocacy – Anne
5)     Corrine Gransee talked to us about Kolday method.
