CMENC Introductory Meeting for 2004-2005 - 17 September 2004
I. INTRODUCTIONS
Jacob Boyle: President
Aurora Conde: Vice President
Jill Redding: Treasurer
Tim Baumann: Advocate
Amy McCoy: Secretary
II. MEMBERSHIP
Dues are $23.00 for the state and $5.00 for the local chapter = $28.00
(Even though Jacob thinks it equals $27.00)
Forms and money are due OCTOBER 1st.

III. STATE CONFERENCE
Held in Madison Halloween weekend!
Freshmen: Registration is FREE!!!
Other members, cost is $20.00

IV. AURORA: SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS
Oct. 8th will be our next meeting. Mike George will give his presentation on
"Leading from the Middle"
If you have any preferences or suggestions for upcoming speakers, please forward
your ideas to Aurora
V. JAKE MORRIS: STATE STUDENT COMMITTEE
Committee is currently working on putting an advocacy packet together.
Eau Claire is the place to be!!! We are a well known chapter...so please encourage
and invite others to attend/join. It is definitely a benefit for any future music director.
Any questions or concerns please forward them to Jake Morris.
VI. TIM: ADVOCACY:
Why advocate music in our schools?
Music in our schools month is in March. We love to go to the area schools during
this time!
VII. MEETING ADJOURNED
There will be registration forms for membership and the state conference located on
our bulletin board.
