Math Ed Application for COEHS, Fall 2009

Mathematics Education majors,

If you have completed CI210/211, you are eligible to apply for admission to the College of Education and Human Sciences. Part of that application involves a recommendation by the Education Committee of the Department of Mathematics. The application packet below contains all the forms required of this committee. These materials provide evidence the Committee can use in support of your application as the process moves forward.

ELIGIBILITY

  • B- or better in CI 210/211
  • 2.75 or higher major GPA
  • 7 or fewer remaining major credits is recommended

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Noon on 18 September 2009 (two weeks before COEHS deadline).

In order to be fair to all potential applicants, no exceptions will be made for late or incomplete applications.

INTERVIEW SCHEDULE

Part of the application process includes an 15-20 minute interview with members of the Mathematics Education Committee. Listed below are times when this committee is available for interviews. Please provide your first and second choice for interview times as directed in the application materials.

  • Wednesday, September 30, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.(HHH 104D)
  • Wednesday, September 30, 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. (HHH 104D)
  • Wednesday, September 30, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. (HHH 104D)
  • Wednesday, September 30, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. (HHH 104D)

The interview schedule will be e-mailed to applicants after all applications are collected and verified as complete.
