Math Meet

Each February, the Mathematics Department holds a annual Mathematics Meet for area high school students. Public and private schools are invited to participate and are divided into divisions according to school enrollment. Team trophies and individual scholarships are awarded.

The 28th Annual Regional Mathematics Meet will be held
Saturday, February 20, 2010.

8:45 -   9:40 a.m.      Registration and Pictures
9:40 - 10:00 a.m.       Proctors' Meeting and Hospitality
10:00 - 10:15 a.m.       Welcome. Brief explanation of events.
10:25 - 10:40 a.m.       Event I - Algebra and Its Applications
10:45 - 11:00 a.m.       Event II - Geometry and Its Applications
11:05 - 11:20 a.m.       Event III - Advanced Math I (Emphasis on Algebra II)
11:25 - 11:40 a.m.       Event IV - Advanced Math II (Emp. on Precalculus Math)
11:50 - 12:20 p.m.       Event V - Team Event
12:20 - 1:00 p.m.        Math Club Sponsored Activity & Light Snacks
1:00 p.m.                    Presentation of Awards.
