Students in secondary education will be given preference. Financial need is a consideration.

Demonstrated performance and potential in mathematics education. This may include: grade point average, career objectives, communication skills, creativity, ingenuity, perseverance, enthusiasm for mathematics and, in particular, mathematics education.
March 1
The recipient of the scholarship will receive official notification and be honored at the University Awards Banquet. The Foundation and financial Aids Offices will also be notified. the scholarship will be credited to the student's account at the beginning of the fall semester.
