Hibbard Humanities Hall

Richard E. Hibbard Humanities Hall is home to seven academic departments as well as the Campus Autism Program, student computer labs, lecture halls, numerous classrooms and several laboratories. It also houses offices for The Spectator, the student newspaper that publishes twice a week, and UW-Eau Claire's forensics program. The building was constructed in 1974. It was named for Richard E. Hibbard, who taught political science, was UW-Eau Claire's vice president for academic affairs from 1964-71 and served as interim president and interim chancellor from 1971-72.
