The Mid-American Association for Behavior Analysis (MABA) will hold its 2011 convention October 21–22 at the Chicago Hilton Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, IL.

Accommodations
Rooms are available at a discounted rate for those attending MABA. MABA members can reserve a room by calling 1-800-334-3417 or 630-529-0200. Ask for a room under "Mid-American Association for Behavior Analysis." The rate should be $115.

Continuing Education Units
MABA is pleased to offer CEUs for the 2011 conference. The cost will be $10 per unit.

Registration
Registration for the conference will occur at the conference. The registration fee is $60 for professionals and $20 for students. All those who register for the conference will automatically receive membership in MABA.

Invitation for Poster Presentations
Attendees at the upcoming conference are encouraged to present their research during the scheduled poster session. Interested persons should submit the poster title, list of authors (with affiliations), and an abstract (200 words or less) by September 23rd to Derek Reed at dreed@ku.edu.

Student Paper Competition
Undergraduate and graduate students, and those who are no more than one year past graduation, are encouraged to submit original empirical papers of basic or applied behavior-analytic research by September 23rd, 2011 to Claudia Dozier at cdozier@ku.edu. The winner of the competition will be invited to give a talk on their research during the upcoming conference.
