A review of Windows PC computer vendors was conducted in 2006 involving representatives from the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, College of Professional Studies, Multiple administrative departments, and Computer and Networking Services. The review involved issues of quality, service, support, and price. Dell emerged as the preferred vendor again.
For departmental laptops we use Dell and Apple as the primary vendors and the College of Business uses Lenovo.

You may also want to purchase additional media to harmonize with your computing experience. For example, USB flash drives are small, portable storage devices which can hold several gigabytes of data. These drives can help make organizing and transporting your files, folders, and projects simple. And depending on how you will be using your machine, you may also want to consider purchasing other media, such as CD-Rs and DVD-Rs.
