VHS Players, Slide Projectors Leaving Classrooms

This summer, most classroom teaching stations will be upgraded. While some technologies are added, others will be removed. Upgrades will begin May 23rd and will be finished by mid-August. New Features:

  • HDMI digital connection for newer laptops
  • USB connection
  • Digital document camera

Lost Features:

  • VHS players (and DVD/VHS combo players)
  • Slide projectors
  • Mac computers
  • Overhead transparency projectors (will be kept in rooms without other technology)

Retained Features:

  • VGA connection
  • DVDs can be played on DVD drive of resident computer
  • Dual-platform stations (Windows PC/Mac) in seven largest lecture halls

Teaching a summer class? LTS will let you know if you need to move to a different classroom for a day or two.
