Due to the large budget cuts that LTS faced this year, the LTS Equipment Checkout Pool was discontinued this summer. In August the Help Desk began distributing the equipment from the pool to departments with staff who had expressed interested in it, and who had frequently used the equipment during the past year. Requests for the equipment outnumbered the items available to give away. LTS sent equipment award letters by email. A list of remaining equipment will be displayed on the Help Desk web page after departments have accepted or declined the offers sent out.
Current options for equipment checkout are as follows: Students can check out laptops, digital cameras, and more at the McIntyre Library Circulation Desk. If your faculty or staff event is in Davies Center, you can check with Event Services and reserve equipment for a fee.
