The first phase of MyBlugold CampS is now live and in production. As of August 17, everyone now sees their personal biographic information in MyBlugold CampS and can access it from the MyBlugold website. All employees and students are encouraged to check their data and make any updates through the self-service capabilities found under the My Info tab.
The Fall 2010 course catalog is available and admissions for Fall 2010 will be processed in MyBlugold CampS. As the year progresses, other activities for Fall 2010 will be implemented in MyBlugold CampS, starting with financial aid applications in February and closely followed by student enrollment in mid-March.
Fundamentals training for the new software will be offered throughout the next two semesters, and focused training on the new features will be offered as we prepare for those implementations. The next steps will likely involve academic department personnel who will be assisting with building the Fall 2010 class schedule in MyBlugold CampS.
MyBlugold CampS is the transition from the current in-house developed administrative computing system, which includes the Bridge pages and MyBlugold student-related capabilities, to the Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions application. Implementation and steering teams were formed in mid-2007 and consist of individuals from across campus, with significant time being spent by Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Financials, and the Registrar’s Office, as well as from many areas within LTS. At this time, all phases of the project are on time and within budget.
More ongoing information about the transition can be found on the LTS web page. Instructions for updating your personal information and other helpful training info can be found at the online sites:
