Big Changes! Starting This Summer

Campus Solutions (CampS) Implementation Update

Beginning this August (2009), you’ll begin seeing significant changes to how student and some staff information is stored and accessed.
You can expect to see the following changes as we head towards that goal:

August 2009

• All biographic and demographic “people” information will be switched to Campus Solutions.
• Everyone will be updating their personal information using a new web-based interface.

September 2009

• The Admissions Office will begin processing applications for Fall 2010 using Campus Solutions.
• New Student Applicants will be able to track their application requirements via the new web-based interface.

January 2010

• Departments will update/enter their fall 2010 class schedules in preparation for March/April enrollment.

February 2010

• The Financial Aid Office will begin processing requests for Fall 2010.
• Students will check their status for financial aid via the new web-based interface.

March 2010

• The Registrar’s Office will begin processing enrollments for Fall 2010 using Campus Solutions.
• Students will view the catalog and register for Fall 2010 classes via the new web-based interface. They’ll be able to see their previous classes, grades, and any registration holds through the same interface.
• Faculty will assist students in viewing course offerings for Fall 2010 and beyond via the new web-based interface.

Fall 2010

• Students will see their academic and financial data via the new web-based interface, including their current class schedules.
• Faculty will see and interact with their class enrollees via the new web-based interface, including accessing course rosters, communicating with students, checking exam schedules, and entering grades.

Throughout the entire process, let’s keep our focus on the bull’s-eye: Fall 2010 for full implementation!
