McIntyre Library Tours

During the weeks of September 15 to October 6, Library faculty and staff will conduct 30-minute McIntyre Library building tours, briefly describing services, assistance, and collections. Tour times are varied (see the following schedule) and designed to meet the needs of a variety of students. While the tours are student-focused, we welcome others! No need to register--just meet at the times below in the Grand Corridor outside the library entrance and bring your questions.

Tours answer questions such as:

  • Where are magazines, journals, books, electronic articles, government documents, current newspapers, and rare books?
  • What are the Library's hours?
  • Where do I check out books? How long may I keep them? How are books arranged?
  • How do I get a group study room?
  • Whom do I ask for help?
  • Does the Library have photocopiers? Can I use my Blugold card? (Answer: yes, and it's cheaper.)
  • What's new on the Library web pages and in the online catalog?

Tour schedule:
