Storing Large Multimedia Files

Assignments and projects with a multimedia component produce large sized files. For that reason, LTS provides each user with 40GB of file space on a server dedicated to the storage of large multimedia files called the video share. The video share is structured far better than the W drive to store and manage large files.

Anyone with a University of Wisconsin –Eau Claire account may set up a folder on the video share. It’s easy to do using the online form, which steps you through the process. When done, the system sends an email confirmation that contains information on how to access the video share and the folder.
