D2L Support for Netscape

NET recently received a question about D2L's plan for supporting the Netscape browser on the Macintosh OS, considering the news that AOL has dropped its support of D2L last February. For more information, read AOL to End Support for Netscape Browser.

According to D2L's Platform Requirements document, the browser will become officially unsupported one year after AOL terminates Netscape support. Therefore, Netscape may still be the recommended browser until February 1st 2009. D2L does support Safari 2.x or Firefox 2.x for Macintosh.
