Email Servers Upgraded

All the email servers were upgraded at the end of December. Documentation is available from the LTS Online Help collection. Here’s a list of new Webmail features available when using Internet Explorer on Windows:

• Server side folder rules
• Personal distribution lists (inside the contacts folder)
• Public folders
• “Recover Deleted Item” section, located inside Options
• “Month” calendar view
• Digitally sign/encrypt emails (Need IE7)

For Macintosh/FireFox users, the only new feature is “autosave”. When a user is typing an email in Webmail, the server will automatically save their email to the drafts folder every few minutes. That way if you get disconnected, you don’t lose the body of their new email.
