An Update on Campus Solutions Implementation

Camps logoUW-Eau Claire is continuing work on the CampS project: the transition from its current in-house developed administrative computing system (home of the ‘Bridge’ pages and ‘MyBlugold’ student-related capabilities) to the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions software package. Changes will be implemented in phases. Here is when you can count on seeing some changes:

August 2009 – This will mark the beginning of our transition. Everyone on campus will experience the following changes:

  • Faculty, staff, and students will have a new place on the web to update their contact and other personal information.

  • The Admissions Office will begin processing their Fall 2010 applicants in Campus Solutions.

  • Other offices on campus will switch from updating bio-demographic data on Bridge to updating it in Campus Solutions (inquiry will still be available via Bridge).

  • New applicants for Fall 2010 will be able to retrieve information about their applications via Campus Solutions.

Early Spring 2010 – Financial Aid and Enrollment functions will be operational in Campus Solutions.

  • Students will see updates to their financial aid award via Campus Solutions.

  • Students will view the catalog and register for Fall 2010 classes via Campus Solutions (late Spring 2010 and Summer 2010 enrollment will still be handled via MyBlugold).

  • Faculty will use Campus Solutions for advising students and will be able to see course registration summary information via Campus Solutions.

  • All offices on campus will be using Campus Solutions for setup related to the upcoming Fall 2010 term.

August 2010 – The Student Financials system will be switched to Campus Solutions and all class-related data for the Fall term will be handled in Campus Solutions.

  • Students will see their bills, financial aid and class schedules via Campus Solutions.

  • Faculty will see their teaching schedules and rosters for each class in Campus Solutions. Later, they will see their exam schedules and will update grades via Campus Solutions.
