Our last event of the semester is coming up!

What:  An end of the semester Grill Out

When:  Sunday, May 3rd with food being served around 2pm

                                Rain Date: Friday, May 8th around 2pm

Where:  Owen Park (located on 1st Ave, across from the Haas parking lot)

Who’s invited:  all of the club’s officers, followers, French faculty, and the high school penpals

We would appreciate if those who come could bring a small salad/dish/dessert to pass and a beverage for themselves and Le Salon Français will bring the rest.

There  will be a Frisbee, a soccer ball, a volleyball, boule aka bocce ball, and possibly badmitten, and there will be of course the playground area for some fun French Club pictures!!!!

If anyone knows for sure they will be coming or has great interest, an email to Courtney at hamiltcl@uwec.edu  would be great so we can get an estimated headcount for how much meat to purchase.

 

 

At our French Speaking Extravaganza on March 12th, we talked about ways to improve your listening skills. Among suggestions were traveling to/living in France, taking more French classes, watching French movies and television shows, speaking with other people who know French (like coming to the extravaganzas!), and listening to French music.
