Check all that apply:
1. Your idea of the visual appeal of individual screens is the: screens are easy to read screens are cluttered graphics are distracting graphics are nice to look at colors look good on my computer colors are muddy or washed out, making the screen hard to look at text is too big text is too small
2. Your impression of the site design is the: screens appear quickly screens take a long time to appear screen variations make it hard to know where I am each time I move forward or back screens have enough similarity between them that I can move through the content without losing my place
3. Your impression of the amount of material you have to go through is: there is way too much information here - I don't have time for this. I can choose which module to do and do that one when I need to know something I don't want to scroll down to see more. This tutorial is confusing -- I got lost when I tried (fill in the blank) :
4. The Contents Sidebar (on the left side) and its links: helps me keep my place should provide more explanation of what each module has in it. were consistently available and went where I expected to go were consistently available but sometimes I was surprised by where the link went.
5. As I was working through the modules on research I found: that the variation between short modules and longer modules was irritating because I couldn't judge how long I would be working on each module. that the variation between short modules and longer modules was welcome because (fill in the blank)... I liked the links within a module that would let me move quickly further into the page. the links in (fill in the blank) module particularly confusing since it wasn’t organized the same as the other modules.
6. I found the steps for doing research to: include more steps than I ever thought writing a paper would take! be in a logical and understandable order leave out an explanation of or not include a full enough explanation of (fill in the blank)...
7. I found the modules of the Research Tutorial to: each take under 20 minutes to complete take too long, particularly the (fill in the blank) module
8. Your impression of the longest module, Research Problems, is: I got tired of the tutorial before I got there. the four problems: casual research, formal research, personal interest, and oral report, seemed to be examples of research I have had to do or may have to do. the four problems didn't describe any research situation I have been in. the description of the problem and the possible resources to use was a good way for me to learn about information resources the descriptions of the problems and the resources to use didn't provide enough explanation for me. the Details of the Search link was not in a good place so I didn't read that section. the Details of the Search link provided the best pointers to how to do research.
