- drkoop.com: Dr. C. Everett Koop's website including health related articles, tips & guidelines for healthy living and other resources.
- HealthLink Plus: Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County site designed to facilitate access to consumer health information for general health, healthcare providers, health insurance, medical research, mental health and other health resources.
- National Library for the Environment Online: Congressional Research Service Reports (CRS) on environmental topics; other references available from NLE online and National Council for Science and the Environment.
- National Environmental Health Association: Access to articles in the Journal of Environmental Health and electronic links to information on the environment.
- National Science Digital Library: The NSDL is intended to support science education at all levels, from pre-kindergarten to post-doctoral, including mathematics, the sciences, engineering and technology.
- Public Health Image Library: An extensive collection of images and multimedia files related to public health, offered by the Centers for disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
- Reports of the Surgeon General Official, conference, workshop reports and proceedings from the office of the Surgeon General.Topics include smoking, secondhand smoke, nutrition, child abuse, television and children, and many other public health issues.
