  • Badgerlink: BadgerLink is a project of the Division for Libraries and community Learning of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Its goal is to provide, via the Web, increased access to information resources for Wisconsin residents in cooperation with the state's public, school, academic, and special libraries.
  • Internet Resources for Kids: Put together by the International Association of School Librarians.
  • World Almanac for Kids: Millions of kids read the World Almanac for Kids every year. Now the best-selling book has a companion website.
  • Great Websites for Kids: Created and selected by the Association for Library Service to Children's division of the American Library Association.

  • Blue Web'n: Part of Pacific Bell's Knowledge Network Explorer, this site contains links to blue ribbon learning sites. You may register to obtain weekly updates listing new sites.
  • Education World: Corporate sponsored comprehensive web site with K-12 focus. It has its own search engine indexing 115,000 educational web sites offering materials on curriculum, lesson planning, model schools, and employment listings, directories for schools and universities, education organizations worldwide, and resources by discipline.
  • Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators: A categorized list of sites on the Internet found to be useful for enhancing curriculum and teacher professional growth. It is updated daily to keep up with the tremendous number of new WWW sites.
  • Scout Report: The Scout Report is a weekly publication offering a selection of new and newly discovered Internet resources of interest to researchers and educators.
  • Skewl Sites: Created for teachers by teachers, this site attempts to identify the best educational K-12 sites. Links are chosen based on their appeal to students, the ease of navigation and use, age appropriateness of material, and relevance to classroom curricula. Links are also available to student produced projects.
  • Surf Report: Sponsored by the ECB (Educational Communications Board). A directory of K-12 collaborative online projects ranging from simple to complex. Projects are free unless otherwise noted. Compiled by Blyth Bennett at the ERIC Clearinghouse on Information and Technology this site describes more than fifty websites that will be of special interest to children in grades K-8, teachers, parents and librarians.
