Stephanie grew up in Caracas, Venezuela. In 2000, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a comprehensive major in Latin American Studies and Spanish. Stephanie has received her masters degree in history. She is currently the coordinator for the UWEC Abriendo Puertas pre-college program and teaches in the UWEC History Department.

For the past three years, she has been actively involved in the Latin American Studies committee. In her spare time, she loves to travel and cook.
