John Pollitz
Library Director
John Pollitz has served as the Director of Libraries at UW-Eau Claire since August of 2007. Pollitz came to UW-Eau Claire from Oregon State University, in Corvallis, OR. He received his BA in History-Education from Southern Illinois University, then his MA in History from the University of Denver. His time in Denver also included class work toward a Ph.D. in Latin American History, with a concentration on the Mexican Revolution. Pollitz also has an MA in Library Science from the University of Iowa. His current research is concentrated on textbook inflation and library responses.
