Paul J. Hoff is a professor of Spanish and foreign language education at UW-Eau Claire. He received his Doctoral degree in Spanish and Education from Syracuse University, and Master's degree in Hispanic Civilization from New York University. For many years, he has worked with the Concordia Language Villages and traveled extensively in both Spain and Latin America.
He has collaborated on three Spanish textbook series: Para empezar, Poco a poco and Somos así. He is an ACTFL certified OPI tester and recently served on the writing team that developed the Planning Curriculum for Learning World Languages (Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction).
