Events On Campus

  • UWEC Forum Speaker: Anthony Romero
    Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union and is the first Latino and openly gay man to serve in that capacity. In 2005, Romero was named one of Time magazine’s “25 Most Influential Hispanics in America.”

  • Brazilian Carnaval! Febuary 9th 9:30 at Trocaderos in Minneapolis $15 in advance/$20 at the door

    Festival of Nations
     97 different ethnic groups from around the world share their foods, crafts and traditions that form the mosaic of our American culture. One of the nation’s largest and longest-running multi-cultural events.  St. Paul Rivercentre May 1-4. $12
