You can study in Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua/Costa Rica through on-going UW-Eau Claire partnerships or in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay through ISEP-Direct programs. Summer Session Abroad
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Latin American studies major includes a summer session at ITESM in Mexico.
Conferences and Fairs
Students may become involved with our Conference on Latin America or Latin American Studies Week, the International Folk Fair and the North Central Council of Latin Americanists.
Learn new skills
Students gain leadership skills and meet people with common interests through student groups such as the Spanish Club, the Latin American Studies Club, and Sigma Delta Pi, the National Hispanic Honor Society.

Language Resource Center
An innovative Language Resource Center, equipped with audio tapes, foreign language video programs received via satellite, foreign films and computer-assisted foreign language instruction, allows students to practice and improve their listening and speaking skills.
