The Mission of Kappa Delta PiKappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society in Education, is dedicated to scholarship and excellence in education. The Society was founded in 1911 and has a long history of openness to both genders, different races, ethnic backgrounds, handicapping conditions, and ages, and a wide variety of intellectual ideas. History of the Epsilon Omicron Chapter
The Eau Claire Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, Epsilon Omicron, was founded on May 22, 1943. Kappa Delta Pi has served the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for 55 years, fostering high standards of preparation for teaching, scholarship, and service. KDP, the oldest honor society on the UW-Eau Claire campus, began with 37 members and has since initiated nearly 3500 members.
