1) From what you have read and learned about transportation on theGreat Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway, what are "salties" and "lakers," and how do they and there purposes differ? What is the major role or contribution of the Great Lakes System to commerce, how is it well suited to this, and what are its disadvantages or obstacles.
