ENGL 245-American Literature Since 1945 (Formerly ENGL 343)

English 245 (formerly English 343) is a course that introduces students to important authors, texts, and topics in American literature and culture since World War II. The course is interdisciplinary, combining methods from history, literary studies, and cultural studies to present a narrative about this pivotal period in American literature. The course is directed to both English majors and students from other disciplines who are seeking general education credit in the humanities.
