On October 22, 2007, the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire's Geography 304 - Introduction to Geomorphology class embarked on a journey to explore the wonders of coastal, glacial and applied geomorphology. They left the sleepy little town of Eau Claire in the early morning hours before the sun even rose in the sky, and did not return until well after the sun had set. The field trip was divided into four sections links to these sections can be found to the left.

Each team did a section:
Team A - Large Lakes Observatory & Canal Park
Team B- Applied Geomorphology
Team C - Rouche Moutonnee
Team D - Park Point
