For this internship I used a variety of skills that I have learned throughout my education at UWEC.  I worked on one major project and some other little things on the side.  Here are a list of the projects I worked on and what skills I used with them.
Addressing Project:

  • Basic map reading skills
  • Basic map measuring skills
  • Finding and describing the patterns of previous addresses
  • Basic ArcGIS software use and techniques
  • Terms used from all the courses listed

Comprehensive Plan of Otter Creek

  • Terms of land use, environmental issues, and surveying notes (needed background history on all subjects)
