My name is Eric Craft and I am a Geography Resource Management major . I am from Marshfield, Wisconsin where I graduated from Marshfield High School in the spring of 2005. That fall I started attending the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. I grew up in the country, ten miles from any town. I believe that is what has caused me to take such affection towards the natural environment. Since I was young I have been outside participating in activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, snowboarding, snowshoeing and exploring on my own. Through-out my school career I have always been interested and done very well in courses dealing with geographic and geologic topics. The past three summers I have been working at Felker Brothers Mfg. Corp., where I worked with metal by shapeing and forming. Since the Spring of 2002, I have working summers at RiverEdge Golf Course on the grounds maintainance crew. When I started attending UWEC, I was an Environmental and Public Health major. That changed after I took a geography course which made me decide that Geography was the major for me. I have taken several physical and human Geography courses and I am currently involved in a research project.
