Surfers enjoying the
waves of Seaside |
Stop 7
Seaside, OR
3:40 p.m.; 65 F, sunny, a bit windy
The cobbles turn into sand
further down the beach, which was brought in by post
jetty events, and because of the tourism the city of
Seaside is willing to do anything to keep its sand and
thus keep its visitors. The dune here is very low
because of the lack and loss of sand.
Coastal fog is visible off of the
coast and coming inland. This is a very touristy
area and the beach is lined with hotels and beaches with
people everywhere surfing and enjoying the sun.
