Conclusion

Are there needs for change in our habits and use of the Colorado River system or is it too late? What do we need to do today and in the future to preserve the river and still have enough water to keep the cities afloat? Finding a solution to this problem may take years but someone needs to find an answer before it is too late. The South Western states have been working together to over come their shortages of water. There is hope as in 2006 they received more rain fall then in they have in 5 years. These states still need to conserve their water source as the demand is growing for water in there area so must their knowledge and conservation of the Colorado River.  Researching more, preparing and conserving will help the problem of drought on the Colorado River.
