The Top picture is showing Hurricane Andrew as the cell is covering the south end of Florida, and the eye of the cell is over Homestead, Florida.
The right hand side map is showing Hurricane Andrew's cell beginning on August 22, 1992 and then in 12 hour intervals it is showing Andrew as it increases in size and moves across the land.
The map below again shows Andrew's path, but also shows a closer up view of when Hurricane Andrew strikes Homestead, Florida.
