Campus Directory
Information |
|
UW-Eau Claire employees will soon be receiving an e-mail regarding information that is published in the campus
directory. You may have noticed that yo ur
home address and phone number was not listed in the
published directory this fall. The words RESTRICTED
and UNLISTED were printed instead.
According to Wisconsin Public Records Law 19.35-19.39,
unless access to home address and telephone information is
specifically authorized by you, the university is not
allowed to provide access to that information.
You will be receiving your annual request for authorization via
e-mail within the next few days. If you do not want your home
address and telephone number in the campus directory for the next
publication, you do not need to respond. If you want your home
address and/or telephone number in the next published directory and/or
in the online directory, you must respond to the request for
authorization that you will be receiving shortly.

Leave Statements/Reports |
|
Unclassified Leave Statements are distributed
early each month. In order to comply with the
requirements of Unclassified Personnel Guideline #10
http://www.uwsa.edu/hr/upgs/upg10rev_oct7_2005.pdf
(Section 10.10), all unclassified employees who are eligible for
retirement must submit a leave statement each month reporting any
paid leave time they have used (sick leave, vacation, etc.) Even
if there was no paid leave time used, according to UPG 10, the
statement must be completed, signed by the employee's supervisor,
and submitted to Human Resources each month. The reports are due in
Human Resources by the 10th day of each month.
The UW Board of
Regents is reviewing the sick leave usage policies.
Consequently, we are in the process of auditing our leave records and are
asking employees to submit any outstanding leave statements. If you
have received a request from us for any outstanding leave statements
and have not yet responded, please complete and return the
outstanding statements to Human Resources as soon as possible so we
may remain in compliance with UPG 10.
