Returning Student Housing Information

Welcome back to UW-Eau Claire!

As you know, by living in one of our residence halls, you will have an opportunity to become part of an exciting, dynamic and rewarding environment that will encourage personal development through community living and involvement.

Your hall and room assignment as well as roommate information have been emailed to your UWEC email account.

The residence halls open at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31st for returning students. Please refer to the “Residence Hall Move-In Procedures” memo for detailed information.

Classes officially begin on Wednesday, September 2nd at 8:00 a.m. Unless we receive word from you concerning a late arrival on campus, your space may be released and reassigned to another student after the above date and time.

If you no longer plan to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.

Please contact the Housing & Residence Life Office if you have any questions regarding the opening of the residence halls. We hope the forthcoming year will be a rewarding experience for you.
