Students complete the requirements of the Honors Program and receive the distinction of "University Honors" on their transcripts and permanent records upon graduation and completion of the following criteria:
- Completion of HNRS 100, First-Year Seminar Course.
- 12 credits of Honors Colloquia (at least two courses at 300 level).
or
- If HNRS 410, Mentoring, is completed, 9 credits of Honors Colloquia (at least one course at 300 level).
- 12 credits of Honors Electives (no more than one Honors Elective course from any one department may count toward the minimum of 12 credits).
or
- If HNRS 420: Tutoring, is completed, 9 credits of Electives from three different departments.
- Completion of HNRS 400, Senior Honors Seminar.
- Total and Resident Grade Point Average of 3.5 or higher upon graduation.
- Honors Program courses may not be audited nor may they be taken for a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grade.
