This is the Web site for the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire Higher Learning Commission (HLC) Self-Study.
UW-Eau Claire (UWEC) is a member of the UW System, which includes thirteen universities, thirteen two-year colleges, and the UW Extension. UWEC was initially accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) in 1950. In 1999, the NCA re-accredited UWEC at the master’s degree-granting level. UWEC will seek accreditation at the master’s degree-granting level again in 2009.
Our campus visit isn't until the fall of 2009, but we are starting to get ready now. Until the campus visit this Web site is to be considered under construction.
