It’s Time to Get Powered UP

“Powered Up” is a dynamic consortium of business, college, and secondary education partners working to heighten interest in IT careers among youth. “Powered Up” provides high schools with opportunities for students to gain exposure to real businesses and IT careers via job shadowing, high school youth apprenticeship partnerships, IT career awareness events and education, etc. “Powered Up” also supports college outreach activities. “Powered Up” originated in Madison, WI, serving the Dane County area. “Powered Up” also helps promote iFairs throughout the state. A recent partnership with the Information Technology Association of Wisconsin (ITAWi) will result in “Powered Up” chapters across Wisconsin; a Milwaukee chapter has already started.
