Hiding Printer Notification

Hiding the printer notification pop-up boxes eliminates the incessant reminders notifying you that a document has been sent to the printer.

  1. From the Start menu, select Printers and Faxes Icon of Printers and Faxes button
    The Printers and Faxes window appears.

  2. From the File menu, select Server Properties
     The Print Server Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Select the Advanced tab

  4. To hide the printer notification, deselect Show informational notifications for network printers
    NOTE: When this option is selected, printer notifications will appear.Print Server Properties dialog box with the Advanced tab selected

  5. Click OK

  6. Close the Printers and Faxes window
