When working in Windows Vista labs, it may be necessary to select and/or change printers depending on working conditions and usage needs. Knowing how to change printers is especially useful if a printer becomes low on toner or is not working correctly. If you need to map to a new printer, refer to Connecting to a Printer.
The following instructions are written generically for Windows Vista and most Windows programs.
Open the document you want to print
From the Name pull-down list, select the desired printer for the lab you are working in
NOTE: If the correct printer does not appear, to add the correct printer to this list, refer to Connecting to a Printer.
If necessary, make any other adjustments to the dialog box
Click OK
The document prints to the selected printer.
