Hiding the Printer Notification

Hiding the printer notification pop-up boxes eliminates the notifications that a document has been sent to the printer.

  1. From the Start buttonStart button, select Control Panel
    The Control Panel appears.

  2. Click HARDWARE AND SOUND
    The Hardware and Sound options appear.

  3. Click PRINTERS
    The list of available printers appears.

  4. From the File menu, select Server Properties
    HINT:
    If the Toolbar isn't visible, press [Alt].
    OR
    In a blank area of the Files list, right click » select Server Properties...
    The Print Server Properties dialog box appears.

  5. Select the Advanced tab

  6. To hide the printer notification, deselect Show informational notifications for network printers
    NOTE: When this option is selected, printer notifications will appear.

  7. Click OK
    Print notifications are hidden.
