Microsoft Exchange Voice Mail

Accessing Voice Mail Options From Off Campus

This documentation addresses Voice Mail capabilities available only on IP phones.

Use these options when you are checking Voice Mail from off campus. You can dial either Microsoft Exchange or your own telephone number.

Dial 831-2238
You will be prompted to enter your telephone extension number.
Using the numeric keys, enter your six-digit office telephone number
EXAMPLE: Enter 365711
You will be prompted to enter your PIN.
Enter your PIN, followed by [#]
You will be prompted with the commands to say to access the desired option
Say the command for the option you want to hear
OR
To use touchtone commands,
1. Press [*] (asterisk)
2. Press [0] (zero)
  You will be prompted with the number to press to access the desired option.
  Those options include the following:
  1. Voice Mail
  2. E-mail
  3. Calendar
  4. Personal Contacts
  5. Compose a Voice Message
  6. Personal Options

Dial your office telephone number
When your greeting begins to play, press [*]
You will be prompted to enter your PIN
Enter your PIN, followed by [#]
You will be prompted with the commands to say to access the desired option
Say the command for the option you want to hear
OR
To use touchtone commands,
1. Press [*] (asterisk)
2. Press [0] (zero)
  You will be prompted with the number to press to access the desired option.
  Those options include the following:
  1. Voice Mail
  2. E-mail
  3. Calendar
  4. Personal Contacts
  5. Compose a Voice Message
  6. Personal Options
